Lake Macquarie is one of Australia’s premier sailing venues and Lake Macquarie Yacht Club has established a reputation as the premier place from which to access and enjoy all that the Lake has to offer for sailors and non-sailors alike. 

We provide a broad range of sailing activities to cater for the many interests of sailors. On Saturdays during the summer we run races for 4 yacht divisions (spinnaker and non spinnaker) and a large Etchell Fleet. Wednesday afternoon races are run throughout the year and Friday twilight races are run during daylight saving. We also have a very popular Cruising Division.

In addition, a varied program of social events during the week and live music on the deck overlooking the marina on Sunday afternoons is designed to enhance your enjoyment of the lakeside setting.

So whether you wish to race your own boat or are interested in being part of a crew, or you just want to relax by the lake you will be made most welcome at our Club.
